“For the past 17 years, TDS has had the privilege to champion the aspirations of motivated, high-achieving, and community-oriented students through the WSTF scholarship,” said Angie Dickison, TDS State Government Affairs Manager. “We are thrilled to extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to these high-character individuals as they embark on their exciting new journeys.”

Since 1966, the WSTF has contributed more than 1.84 million to help students further their education. Over its 59 years, the foundation has awarded scholarships to nearly 1,450 students.

The WSTF is part of the Wisconsin State Telecommunications Association (WSTA), a trade organization representing more than 65 companies and cooperatives in Wisconsin, including TDS. This year, 123 applications were received. The foundation is awarding 20 $1,500 scholarships to students this year, an additional five $750 scholarships to students attending a technical college, and one $1,500 award to the winner of the WSTF Bruce Reuber Memorial Scholarship.

Funds for the scholarship are contributed by individuals associated with the telecommunications industry in Wisconsin. TDS is proud to participate annually in the WSTF scholarship program.
