ARGYLE - Argyle Community Organization's 70th annual fish fry supper will be served from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday, June 27, in the big tent in front of the Argyle-Adams Firehouse in Argyle. The menu includes deep fried fish, French fries, coleslaw and all the trimmings. They will also be serving cheese from Lafayette and Green County cheese factories. There will be live music while you eat. The fish fry is a rain or shine event.
The 18th annual Argyle duck races will be held on the Pecatonica River, beginning at 2 p.m. June 27 at Steve's Garage on Wisconsin 81 West. The finish line is at Robert Wenger's boat landing. Prizes will be awarded with tickets available throughout Argyle. The duck races may be postponed or re-scheduled because of inclement weather.
