ARGYLE - The Argyle High School class of 1943 held their 65th class reunion July 12 at Partridge hall in Argyle. Charlene Durtschi and Ramona Komprood shared mistress of ceremony duties. They were co-chairmen of the class reunion for the third time in a row. Arlin Nyborg gave scripture and prayer before the meal. After the meal was time for sharing what each was doing in their lives, the number of grand children and great-grandchildren, and other interesting goings on. Charlene Durtschi read a letter from RoseMarie (Johnson) Bredeson who was not able to attend. Gertie Voelkli brought the class "scrapbook" which she has faithfully kept and classmates contributed information to update it.

Door prize winners were Clinton Nall and Ramona Komprood, each a half dozen roses in a vase; Myron Hendrickson and Pearl (Sowl) Nybord, each a hummingbird and flower decoration; Wayne Penniston, a wood carving made by Arlin Nyborg; Charlene Durtschi, a hand-painted dish made by Ramona Komprood; Clayton Martin, a western-style ash tray donated by Paul Sardison.

Classmates Rolf Severson, Miles Quinn and Betty (Olson) McGranahan have passed away since the 63rd reunion.

Co-chairmen for the next reunion are Paul Sardison and Clayton Martin.
