AMES, Iowa - The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Iowa State University awarded scholarships to three area students for the 2016-17 academic year. Scholarship awards were presented to:

Darlington: Levi Wedig, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Dean's Study Abroad Leadership Scholars Scholarship.

Monroe: Samantha DeVoe, Portia A. Goke Scholarship in Memory of Alvin W. Goke.

Monticello: Emilie Gietzel, Maxine Sampson Scholarship for Women in Agriculture.
