DARLINGTON — Apple River State Bank is celebrating the first anniversary of its Darlington office located at 207 Wells Street in Darlington. The office opened in July 2023 after a remodeling period that utilized local contractors.
“We are thrilled to be in Darlington and the reception by the community has been outstanding,” said Joel Holland, the bank’s Chief Executive Officer. “We are proud to be actively involved in Darlington. The bank has made over $20,000 in sponsorships since we arrived and our staff volunteers their time with numerous organizations.”
Holland added, “We are a progressive community bank that focuses on the needs of the local community. We provide expert advice on lending, mortgage, deposits, trust, and investment solutions to fit our customers’ financial needs. Most importantly, when you deal with Apple River State Bank, you have access to our decision-makers. That’s something you don’t often find in banking today. It’s just the way we do business.”
Month-long Celebration
The bank will celebrate the anniversary with giveaways throughout the month of July. A cookout will be held on Wednesday, July 17 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
