JUDA —There has been a Christmas musical presented at Juda Zion Church every year since 1995, with the exception of 2020, because of the pandemic. The tradition continues this year with a new musical, “Welcome To Bethlehem”.
This is a heart-touching story set in a present-time hotel in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. As travelers come to the hotel they experience a warm welcome from the owners, Mr. and Mrs. Wiseman, and from the hotel staff. The theme of Hope shines through the experiences of each of the different characters.
Performances will be Sunday, Dec. 5, and Sunday, Dec. 19, both at 1:30 p.m. at the Juda Zion Church, located at N2320 Church St., Juda.
Cast and choir members include: Rudy Kaderly, Judy Kaderly, Julie Davis, Blake Adkins, Reagan Matzke, Peggy Matzke, Kay Carter, Bob Severson Jr., Bethany Woodward, Sophie Bolton, Joyce Hoesly, Pat Daniels, Peggy Jordan, Jake Hoesly, Dakota Davis, Steve Anderson, Nicole Ramirez, Aurora Daniels, Beth Figi, Julia Figi, JoAnn Eberle, Kalvin Kaderly, and Sharon Creuzer. The musical is directed by Shelly Jordan. Brian Matzke is in charge of lights, Bill Jahn and Joe Kaderly handle the sound system, Heidi Bolton the videos and Hazel Matzke the publicity.
The public is welcome, there is no charge. Masks are recommended.
