Robert and Lorraine Wolfe Sr. will celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary on Aug. 11. Robert and Lorraine (Bates) were married Aug. 11, 1956 at St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Stoddard, Wis. Their attendees were Marilyn and Marlene Bates, Aldon Schroder and Awalt Wolfe Jr., flower girl Beth Lehman, and ring bearer Jeff Lehman.

They are the parents of four children: Robert Jr. (Laurie) Wolfe, David (Janet) Wolfe, Kathy (Duane) Scheidegger, and Donna Wolfe. They have eight grandchildren: Jessica Hoesly; Justin, Stephanie and Carissa Wolfe; Matthew (Amber) Rear; Emily and Thomas Rear; and Michael Wolfe. They also have six great-grandchildren: Tyler, Cole and Taetum Hoesly; Autumn Wolfe; and Leah and Elise Rear.

They will celebrate with a family gathering.
