Anniversary: Weckerly

Alan and Diana Weckerly, Monroe, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house for friends and relatives from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 22, at St. John's United Church of Christ Fellowship Hall.

Weckerly and Diana Weeks were married on Oct. 4, 1958 at St. John's United Church of Christ. Their attendants were Marilyn (Jack) Hauser, Brodhead, and the late Marvin Klassy, Monticello.

They have five children: Alan Jr. (Patricia), Cleveland, Ohio; Scott (Judy) Nashville, Tenn.; Brenda (Matt Becker), Philadelphia, Pa.; Dawn, at home and Cindy (Matthew) Wilcox, all of Monroe. They have 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

They also have an AFS daughter, Marcela (Claudio) Salinas, Argentina, South America, who has twins.

The couple requests no gifts.
