Walter and Louise Steiner, Monroe, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on January 10, 2009.
Steiner and Louise Buol were married Jan. 10, 1959 in New Glarus.
They have five children, Morris (Cindy) Steiner, Middleton; Laurie Steiner, Madison; Sam (Kris) Steiner, Georgia; Kathy Siegenthaler (Mark Eisenberg), Middleton; Rebecca (Tony) Balogun, Evansville; and five grandchildren (one is deceased).
An open house for the couple will be held in the spring.
