Marvin and Ruth Schmerse, Janesville, celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with family and friends.
Schmerse and Ruth Meyers were married Feb. 12, 1944, at Zion Evangelical United Brethren Church, Juda.
They are both retired from farming, Badger Northland Farm Equipment and Rochester Silo Sales and Services, all of Janesville.
Their family includes Joyce Storer, Milwaukee; Donald and Dynah Schmerse, Waxahachie, Texas; and David and Linda Schmerse, Coal Valley, Ill. They also have eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
