Robert and Beverly Rufer, Monroe, will observe their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 26, at the Monroe Moose Family Center. All family and friends are invited.

Rufer and Beverly Skattum were married July 26, 1959, at the Zion United Methodist Church in Juda.

They are the parents of four children: Jeffrey (Kathy) Rufer, Monroe; James (Vickie) Rufer, Aurora, Ill.; Joyce (Steve) Kubly, Monroe; and Joseph (Debra) Rufer, Verona. They have seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.
