Stan and Shirley (Sellnow) Purdue celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 30, 2014.
The couple was married on Aug. 30, 1964 in Monroe. The couple has two children, Dan (Jeri) and Kent and three grandchildren: Cora, Carisa and Grant.
Shirley is retired from Green County and Stan is semi-retired from Purdue Masonry Inc.
All friends and family are invited to attend a party, hosted by their children and grandchildren, at 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13 at Cardinal Lanes, Brodhead. No formal invitations are being sent. The couple asks that gifts be omitted.
