Merlin and Helen Loveland, Monroe, will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, at the Monroe Moose Lodge.

They were married on Sept. 17, 1944 at Zwingli United Church of Christ, Monticello.

They are parents of three children: LaVonne Hawking, Marilyn Wittenwyler and William Loveland. They have four grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
