Duane and Velma Klein, Monroe, formally of Platteville, Livingston and Mineral Point, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on January 3, 2009. They were married January 3, 1959 in Waverly, Iowa.

They have four children: Annette (David) Meudt, Mineral Point; Theresa Argall, Belleville; Mary (Joe) St. Antoine, Waukesha; Joe (Ruth Ann) Klein, Monroe; and nine grandchildren.
