Fritz and Charlotte Haldiman, South Wayne, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 31, at Marty's Village Inn in South Wayne.
Haldiman and Charlotte Marie Matzke were married August 31, 1948 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa.
They are the parents of three children: Terry (Nola) Haldiman, South Wayne; Tim (Jane) Haldiman, Waterloo; and Patty (Steve) Tuescher, Darlington. They have six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The couple requests no gifts.
