Art and Patti Gibeaut of Monroe recently celebrated their 50th anniversary.
They were married on June 9, 1967 in Beloit. They have two daughters, Kim (Wayne) Perez of Roscoe, Illinois, and Niki (Chris) Behrens of Beloit. They have five grandchildren: Dr. Savannah (Sgt. Greg) Lauer; Jonathon Huston; Branden Behrens; Jacob Bondele; and Carly Behrens.
The couple is enjoying retirement in the Monroe area, where Art was previously President of Iroquois Foundry and then CEO of Sivyer Steel in Bettendorf, Iowa, and Patti owned Tri-State Pets in Monroe. They celebrated their anniversary at a dinner with family at Merrill and Houston's Steak Joint in Beloit.
