Ruth and Bernard Gibbons will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary on Sept. 4, 2013.
Bernard Gibbons and the former Ruth Wilkinson were married Sept. 4, 1943 by Rev. E.C. McCollow of St. Victor Church.
The couple's children are: Gregory (Mary), Debra Haeft, Jeffrey (Jane), Jennifer (Robert) Duxstad, Peggy (Joe) Frint, Joseph (Kelly) and Sharon (deceased infant). The couple has 14 living grandchildren (three deceased) and nine great-grandchildren.
A celebration with family and a few friends will be held Sunday, Sept. 1.
