David and Mary Deininger, Monroe, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on Thursday, June 4.

Deininger and Mary Nussbaum were married June 4, 1969 at the U.S. Naval Academy Chapel in Annapolis, Maryland.

They have two children, Jonathan Deininger, Eugene, Ore., and Christopher (Rhonda) Deininger, Jenks, Okla.; and two grandchildren.

They will celebrate with a family trip to Switzerland in July.
