Robert and Lynn Daniels of Monroe celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on July 6 at their rural Monroe home. A surprise family dinner and dance, hosted by all three children, was held at the Daniels residence. An open house for family was held at Perks Coffee Shop on Sunday, July 6. A trip to Germany is planned in late September.

Daniels and Lynn Davis were united in marriage July 6, 1968 at the United Methodist Church in Juda.

The couple has three children and five grandchildren, Rob (Lori), Marc and Alec of Dubuque, Iowa, Rich (Erika) and Maddy, Sycamore, Ill. and Joy (Brian), Christen and Sidney of Orange City, Fla.
