Jerry and Marilyn Carpenter, Darlington, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house hosted by their children from 6 to 10 p.m. on Friday, April 30, at the First Banking Center in Darlington.
Jerry, son of Clifford and Muriel Carpenter, married Marilyn Olson, daughter of Clayton and Gladys Olson, April 30, 1960, at the East Wiota Lutheran Church.
Their children are: Deb (Kevin) Quinn, Eagle River; Steve (Lisa), Darlington; and Cathy (Dave) Calvert, Darlington. They have 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
