Jim and Ellen (Lelle) Burmeister celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on July 24.

They are the parents of Lori Drain, South Wayne; Steve Burmeister, Gratiot; and Brad (Sara) Burmeister, Mineral Point.

They have five grandchildren.
