Herb and Beverly Blumer, Monroe, will observe their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday, August 9.

Blumer and Beverly Ommodt were married on August 9, 1959 at St. John's United Church of Christ.

They have two sons, Randall (the late Susan) Blumer, Monroe, and Scott (Lorraine) Blumer, Monroe. They have seven grandchildren.

The couple will celebrate with family.
