Leon and Leona Baumgartner are celebrating 60 years of marriage.
Baumgartner and Leona Kitchen were married on December 15, 1948, in Evansville, WI.
The Baumgartners have six children: Vicki Evenson, Vonda Fowler, Scott (Gale) Baumgartner, Viane (Mike) Staniszewski, Vanita Baumgartner (Rich Nagy) and Stacy (Dawn) Baumgartner, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
They have farmed in Decatur over 50 years and have been active in several community organizations, including the United Church of Christ. A private family celebration will mark this occasion.
