Charles E. and Beverly A. Vandlen, Monroe, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 5 at the Juda Community Center in Juda.

Vandlen and Beverly Smith were married June 5, 1960 at the Methodist church in Monroe.

They have three children: Jeffrey of Monroe; Steven (Judy) of Juda; and Scott (Shannon) of Monroe. They also have five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

All friends and relatives are invited. No formal invitations are being sent.
