Glenn and Viola Schwend, Monroe, will observe their 60th wedding anniversary on Oct. 21.

Glenn retired in 1995 from the U.S. Post Office, Monroe, after serving for 33 years.

Their children are Kathy Lincicum, Monroe; Charles Schwend, Denver, Colo.; and Kristine Albertson, Monroe. They also have four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
