Orval and Leona Reed, South Wayne, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 6, at the Gratiot Memorial Center, Main Street, in Gratiot.
They were married June 5, 1960 at East Wiota Lutheran Church. Their attendants were Ruth Peterson, Joyce Rufer, Gerald Hawkinson and Eugene Peterson.
They have three children: Robert, at home; Rhonda (David) Werren, Browntown; and Rodney (Christy), South Wayne. They also have four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
