Anderson awarded Loomis scholarship

JANESVILLE - The family of Ray W. Loomis and the Blackhawk Technical College Foundation announce the award of the 2009 Ray W. Loomis Memorial Scholarship to Tracy L. Anderson of Albany. Anderson is enrolled in the physical therapy assistant program at Blackhawk Technical College in Janesville. She graduated from Warren High School in Warren.

The scholarship is awarded in the memory of Ray W. Loomis, who was an educator, administrator and principal. After his retirement in 1976, he worked part-time at Blackhawk Technical College until 2000. The scholarship is awarded annually to a student enrolled at Blackhawk Tech.
