LENA — The American Legion Auxiliary will be holding the annual Pie Baking Contest on Saturday, Jan. 21, and Soup Tasting on Sunday, Jan. 22.

 On Saturday, the American Legion Auxiliary Units of the Thirteenth District will be hosting the pie baking contest. Fruit pies should be delivered to the American Legion Home in Lena between 10 a.m. and noon. Pies will be judged and cash prizes will be awarded. Entries are accepted up until the start of the contest.

 On Sunday, the Units will once again sponsor an activity from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The Annual Soup Tasting will feature over fifteen different soups and dessert for $8 for adults and $3 for children under 10.
