MONROE - The Green County Genealogical Society will host Amber Hawkinson during its meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6 at the upper level of the Monroe Public Library, 925 16th Ave.
Hawkinson will be talking about her credentials, experiences, equipment used and evidence with paranormal visits. She will be unable to do any readings.
Hawkinson is an instructor at Blackhawk Technical College in the paranormal investigation field and is working towards a bachelors degree in metaphysical sciences. She is a professional psychic medium and certified psychic spiritual counselor. Hawkinson's other credentials include astrology, aromatherapy and dream interpretation.
The program will be followed by a business meeting and refreshments. The research library will be open from 1 to 3 p.m. for those who wish to do some genealogical research.
The meeting is open to anyone interested in the program topic or has an interest in genealogy.
