FREEPORT - Stephenson County Amateur Radio Emergency Service will be holding an amateur radio licensing exam at 12:30 p.m. Feb. 3 in the conference room on the second floor of the Freeport Public Library.
Ham radio is an opportunity to meet new friends, begin a lifetime new hobby and be part of a response team and get involved when public service or emergency opportunities arise.
