Alzheimer's Support Center receives grant from Cabin Fund

JANESVILLE - The Alzheimer's Support Center of Rock County, Inc. received a grant from the Cabin Fund, a component of the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin to support Family Advocacy.

The Alzheimer Support Center provides free support, information, education and advocacy on Alzheimer's disease and related dementias for caregivers and family members. The organization works to empower individuals to accept, overcome and cope with Alzheimer's disease by providing encouragement, support, and community service.

The grant the center received is made available from the Community Foundation's Cabin Fund which provides funding for projects related to animal care, hospice care, or horticulture.
