ALBANY - Cynthia Bagley will address the April 15 meeting of Albany Historical Society at 7:30 p.m. in the Museum, 119 N. Water St., downtown Albany. She is a former Albany area resident of Welsh descent, now living in Clinton, Wis., who has written several books about her Welsh ancestors, and with her husband, Loren, made a model of the Welsh families who settled in the English Settlement section of Albany Township.

Her program on Tuesday, April 15 will explain how she was able to achieve Historical Landmark Status for the English Settlement Cemetery just north of the Village, and what is planned to commemorate this event.

Visitors are welcome to attend this meeting and to join in the refreshment period provided by Hans and Dorothy Schlapbach after the program.

At a later time Bagley will present a program for Albany Historical Society about Presidential Libraries, to which the public is also invited.
