ALBANY - Over the past couple of weeks, students in fifth and sixth grades at Albany Community Middle School have been studying about Latin America.
Students covered content ranging from ancient cultures to colonial independence from European countries. They also studied the biomes and other vocabulary related to both science and geography. Students chose a research topic relating to Latin America, which they will use to present at an exhibit they are creating for a Latin America Museum.
Guests are invited to the Albany Community Middle School to view and celebrate the students' work.
The museum will be open to other students and the public from noon to 1:15 p.m. Feb. 5.
