ALBANY - Have you herd? A Cowparade Cow has moooved into the Albany School office. She is titled "The Cows Are Out" and was designed and painted by udderly talented artist Larry Schultz from Milton. She was on display in the office in April.

This mooovelous opportunity came to school because Larson Acres Inc. sponsored this cow for Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board's Cowparade event. During her visit, Sandy Trustem placed a Dairy Fun Fact each week so the kids could learn a little bit more about cows and Wisconsin's dairy industry.

For more information regarding Cowparade visit these websites: www.wisdairy.com/cowparade or http://wisconsin.cowparade.com.

As part of the excitement, the students were able to "create their own Cowparade moooosterpiece." Winners were: Nathaniel Ross, Jasmine Marcellus, Hunter Brewer, Drew Kennedy and Joey Barnett. In addition, each student listened to a dairy presentation by Sandy Larson and received their very own Cowparade magnet. Larson Acres also donated the Cowparade book to the Library and a farming book to each classroom.
