Albany homecoming starts Sept. 29

ALBANY - Albany Schools is celebrating homecoming the week of Sept. 29 through Oct. 4. Activities theme is "Under the Big Top."

Special days planned are Sept. 29, circus colors; Sept. 30, circus day; Oct. 1, Ringling brothers twin day; Oct. 2, freak show day; and Oct. 3, Comet spirit day.

Class colors are freshman, orange; sophomores, green; juniors, red; and seniors, blue.

Evansville football and band members will be guests at the pep assembly from 1:15 to 2:15 p.m. Oct. 3. Activities during the assembly include class circus acts and the introduction of fall sports and homecoming court. The parade will leave at 2:30 p.m. from the parking lot and will end at Village Park.

The Homecoming Dance is set for 7 to 11 p.m. Oct. 4. Grand March is at 8:30 p.m. The cost is $10 for high school students and $5 for spectators.
