Ken Kittlesen and Eileen Zurfluh from the Class of 1941. They have been out of school 81 years. Zurfluh is the oldest living alumni, according to Ken, at two months older than Kittlesen.

The Albany Alumni Association honored two special Alumni during the Alumni Banquet held May 28 at the Lions Club.

Albany high school seniors Sierra Groebner, Caden Maire, Brianna Dahl, Payton Wachholz, Alex Schliem, Rhylie Gough and Kaiya Zurfluh each received a $1,000 scholarship from the Albany Alumni Association, and Jim Sharer from the Class of 1952. Sharer also donated an extra $1,000 to valedictorian Kaiya Zurfluh, and salutatorian Rhylie Gough. The $9,000 was awarded during the Alumni Banquet held May 28 at the Lions Club.
