The Monroe Parks and Recreation After School Program celebrated the season with a Christmas party Dec. 17. 

Children played games, made craft projects and completed a Christmas word search. Children come to the Abe Lincoln Elementary School each day for homework time, snacks, crafts, games and having fun with friends. There are two openings in the program.
