ADRC to offer ‘Lunch & Learn’ series in Green County

MONROE — The ADRC of Southwest Wisconsin-Green County office begins its 2020 “Lunch & Learn” series. Local speakers and organizations will provide presentations over the lunch hour. 

“Scams/Identity Theft/Financial Fraud Prevention” will be the topic during the 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. presentation Feb. 7. 

Marine Credit Union Bank Manager Laura Vorphal, along with local law enforcement and Green County’s Adult Protective Service Worker Maria Johnson will be the speakers.  The topic will touch on knowing what to identify, look for and avoid when dealing with scams.  

The “Lunch & Learn” series will be on the first Friday of every month from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Green County Government Services Building multi-purpose rooms, N3152 Wisconsin 81, Monroe. All “Lunch & Learn” presentations are free but reservations for lunch are required.
