ORANGEVILLE -A Community Together, a non-profit organization focused on the development of the greater Orangeville area, announces receipt of a $3,000 grant from the Donald V. and Britta A. Peterson Memorial Fund of the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois. According to Harry Bowen, president of ACT, the grant will be used to support the show season for the Mighty Richland Players Dinner/Dessert Theater (MRPDT) and to perform shows in several venues during the year, to include Stockton, Galena, and Freeport. "During the past eight years, we have seen tremendous growth in MRPDT," Bowen said.
