Holiday parade set for Dec. 4
DARLINGTON - The Holiday Parade will be at 6 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 4. There will be participation of businesses, organizations, and churches with decorated floats.
Residents are encouraged to get in the spirit and make this a parade to remember. Donations are appreciated. Bus trip planned to Chicago Loop
MONROE - First National Bank and Trust Company's Privilege Plus group will take a trip downtown Chicago for holiday shopping on Wednesday, Dec. 1.
Participants from Monroe will depart from First National Bank and Trust, 1625 10th St., at 7 a.m. and return at 6:30 p.m.
The cost for this trip is $35 for First National Bank Privilege Plus members and $39 for non-members.
The cost includes transportation to and from Water Tower Place at 845 N. Michigan Avenue.
