HENDERSON, Tenn. - Christina Mellenberger, Monroe, was named to the dean's list at Freed-Hardeman University for academic achievement during the 2012 spring semester.
Inclusion on the dean's list requires maintaining a minimum grade point average of 3.40 for the semester and full-time status.
Mellenberger is a junior in arts and humanities.
She is the daughter of Timothy Mellenberger and is a Monroe High School graduate.
ST. PAUL, Minn. - Connor James Moore, Gratiot, and Levi Wedig, Darlington, recently received a $1,000 scholarship from the CHS Foundation, a national cooperative owned by farmers, ranchers and co-ops across the United States.
Moore will study biotechnology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Wedig will study animal science/agronomy at Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa.
Wedig and Moore are two of 50 students receiving scholarships through the CHS Foundation High School Scholarship Program.
