OSHKOSH - The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh announced the names of students who qualified for the university's dean's list and honor roll in the fall semester of the 2012-13 school year.

To qualify for the honor roll, a student must take at least 12 credits and earn a GPA of at least 3.3, out of a possible 4.0, or all As. Those with a GPA of 3.75 or higher qualify for the dean's list.

Area students included:

Blanchardville: April Dawalt-Peterson, dean's list.

Brodhead: Joseph Stephenson, honor roll; Danielle Kraak, honor roll; Jennifer Jackson, dean's list; Brent Baxter, honor roll; Erin Calhoon, dean's list; Zachary Calhoon, dean's list; Erin Calhoon, dean's list.

Monroe: Andrew Thoman, honor roll; Lisa Ziltner, dean's list; Emma Schwitz, dean's list; Abby Jacobson, dean's list; Jacob Gross, honor roll; Jeffrey Guth, honor roll; Lisa Ziltner, dean's list.

Monticello: Ashley Schmid, honor roll; Evan Schultz, dean's list; Brienna Voegeli, dean's list; Laine Havens, honor roll.

New Glarus: Danielle Pickett, dean's list; Carly Gillam, honor roll.



ST.PAUL, Minn. - Nellie Black, Darlington, was named with highest honors to the fall semester dean's list at Northwestern College.

The dean's list includes full-time students with a semester GPA of 3.65 out of 4.0 or higher. Highest honors are awarded to students with a GPA of 3.90 to 4.0, high honors are awarded to students with a GPA of 3.75 to 3.89, and honors are awarded to students with a GPA of 3.65 to 3.74.

Black, the daughter of Bryan and Shelly Black, is pursuing a degree in biochemistry at Northwestern.



MENOMONIE - The University of Wisconsin-Stout announced the names of students who were recipients of the chancellor's award for the fall 2012 semester.

The award is presented to students who have a GPA of 3.5 or above.

Area students included: Matthias Eiserman, Monroe; Jonathon Bailey, Shullsburg; Jon Krupke, Monroe; Brooke Zimmerman, Browntown; Brady McDaniel, Darlington; Robert Seichter, Monroe; and Emily Grossen, Monroe.
