OSHKOSH - University of Wisconsin Oshkosh officials have announced the names of students who qualified for the University's dean's list and honor roll in the spring semester of the 2009-2010 school year.

To qualify for the honor roll, a student must take at least 12 credits and earn a grade-point average (GPA) of at least 3.3 (out of a possible 4.0, or "all A's"). Those with a GPA of 3.75 or higher qualify for the dean's list.

Area students on the list are: Mitchell DeNure, Monroe, honor roll; Katherine Pecora, Monroe, honor roll; Lucas Suthers, Monroe, all A's; Melissa Teasdale, Monroe, all A's; Austin Volden, Monroe, honor roll; Sydnee Wyss, Monroe, honor roll; Brock Blum, Monticello, honor roll; Brittany Dunlap, Monticello, honor roll; Kyle Ritschard, Monticello, honor roll; Brienna Voegeli, Monroe, honor roll; Patti Jacobson, South Wayne, all A's.

Carole Janssen, Monroe, received the Chancellor's Award for the fall 2009 semester at University of Wisconsin-Stout, Menomonie. The award is presented to students who have a grade point average of 3.5 or above.

Aaron Webster has made the honor roll for the second semester at the Monroe Virtual School. Honor roll is a 3.5 G.P.A. or higher.

Kayla Marie Streff, Monroe, was named to the 2010 spring semester dean's list for Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa. Students named to the dean's list must have earned a grade point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded course work. Her major is art and design.

Lee Henke, Monroe, was named to the Academic High Honor and Honor list for the past spring semester at Minnesota State University, Mankato, Minn. Henke was named to the honors list for earning a 3.5 to 3.99 grade point average.
