Emily Kundert, daughter of Tim and Carrie Kundert, Monroe, was named to the dean's list at Carroll University, Waukesha, for the spring 2010 semester. To be named to the dean's list, students must have a grade point average for the semester of at least 3.5 on a 4-point scale. Kundert, a photography major, is a 2008 graduate of Monroe High School.

Marissa M. Young, Monroe, was named to the dean's list at Saint Xavier University, Chicago. Young is a biology major at Saint Xavier. Students named to the dean's list must have a grade point average of 3.5 and above to qualify.

Aryn Wellnitz, South Wayne, has been named to the dean's list at Edgewood College, Madison, for the spring 2010 semester. Wellnitz is studying nursing. Full-time students who maintain a 3.75 grade point average at the college are eligible for this honor. She is the daughter of Tom and Danielle Wellnitz.

Ehren Arndt, Monroe, was named to the dean's list for the 2010 spring semester at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

Danielle Moser, daughter of Linda Moser, Monroe, was named to the dean's list at Carroll University, Waukesha, for the spring 2010 semester. To be named to the dean's list, students must have a grade point average for the semester of at least 3.5 on a 4-point scale. Moser, a psychology major, is a 2006 graduate of Monroe High School.

Emily Rufenacht, Monroe, has been named to the dean's list at Edgewood College, Madison, for the spring 2010 semester. Rufenacht is studying psychology. Full-time students who maintain a 3.75 grade point average at the college are eligible for this honor. Rufenacht is the daughter of Donna Geissbuhler and Rick Rufenacht.

PLATTEVILLE - University of Wisconsin-Platteville student Cody Plenge, Monroe, was initiated into the school's Alpha Lambda Delta and Phi Eta Sigma national honor societies chapters April 25. These societies recognize academic achievement during the first year of college.

Plenge is currently a freshman at Platteville majoring in criminal justice. He is also involved in the school's Criminal Justice Association and intramural softball. His career goal is to become a police officer. He is a 2009 graduate of Monroe High School and the son of David Plenge and Lori Plenge, Monroe.
