Laura Beth Chopp, Monroe, was recently named to the dean's list of the College of Science, Engineering and Technology at Minnesota State University, Mankato, Minn., for the 2011 spring semester. To be named to the list, students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale while carrying 12 or more regular credits.

She is the daughter of Cindy and Thomas Chopp, Monroe.
