Marty Schulz, letter carrier for the U.S. Postal service, retired this week with nearly 35 years of service. Marty followed in his father’s footsteps. Howard “Bruiser” Schulz also had over 30 years of service as a letter carrier with the U.S. Post Office. Marty designed the shirt he wore on his last day of employment with patches and buttons taken from his father’s old postal uniforms sewn on — representing over 65 years of family service to the Monroe community as letter carriers.
