MONROE - Green County 4-H members performed at the 2012 Green County 4-H Communication and Performing Arts Festival on Saturday, May 5 at Parkside Elementary School.
The event, which is held to promote the performing arts, featured members sharing their talents on stage. Categories were music, dance, verbal and non-verbal performances, and skits. Music participants could play an instrumental or sing a vocal selection of their choice. Verbal performances could include monologues, comedy acts, magic and puppet shows, and non-verbal acts could be clowning and mime. Skits were done by 4-H clubs.

Emcee for the program was Todd Long, Decatur 4-H Club. Performers will be showcasing their talents and perform in mini revues in the Youth in Action Building at the Green County Fair in July.
