FREEPORT - The 46th Annual Old-Time Threshing and Antique Show will be held Aug. 7 through 9 at the Stephenson County Fairgrounds. Gates open at 7 a.m. each day.
Friday will feature a special discount offer, where a $15 ticket allows admission to the show at the fairgrounds, a train ride on the Silver Creek and Stephenson Railroad and a tour of the Silver Creek Museum. The Friday special tickets can be purchased at the museum, depot or the show ground gate. Tickets for the show for the other two days can be purchased at the gates of the fairgrounds.
The hours for the train rides and the museum tours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The cost of admission for the show is $6 for adults and $3 for children under the age of 12. The cost to ride the train is $7 for adults and $3 for children under 12. The cost of the self-guided tours at the museum are $4 for adults, and children under 12 are free. The tickets for the train are available for purchase at the Silver Creek Depot.
Train tickets on Saturday and Sunday can be purchased at the depot, and museum tour tickets can be purchased at the museum.
Features for this year's show are Farmall/International tractors, trucks and equipment. Gasoline Alley will feature Maytag gas engines and products and garden tractors of all makes and models.
