MONROE — Three troop members from Monroe Girl Scouts Junior Troop #9009 were presented with their Bronze Award pin on Sunday, Sept. 26.
Annabelle Curl, Elizabeth Murphy, and HaLinda Reasa completed their Bronze Award project by packing food boxes at the Green Cares Food Pantry and donating personal care items. This project was a two-year process and requires each girl to work a minimum of 20 hours towards the actual project. The Girl Scout Bronze Award is the highest honor a Girl Scout Junior can achieve.
Following the Bronze Award presentation, the entire troop advanced to the Cadettes level of Girl Scouts, with a candle and ribbon bridging ceremony.
