MONROE — Two 20-year-olds are charged with citations related to “a mass amount of eggings” in the city of Monroe over the weekend of Oct. 24, according to police.

Lydia Jo Stietz, of Argyle, and Brandon D. Raetz, of Orangeville, were cited Nov. 18 in Green County Circuit Court for malicious destruction of property. The non-criminal citations carry a $263.50 fine. Stietz and Raetz are due in court Dec. 7.

The two took turns driving and targeted “quite a few” vehicles at random with the eggs, said Monroe Police Captain Jerry Dahlen. Most of the vehicle owners were able to clean off the egg, but one or two cars had permanent damage that required work at a bodyshop.
